Fantasy Flight Games has unveiled the upcoming release of The Innsmouth Conspiracy Investigator Expansion and The Innsmouth Conspiracy Campaign Expansion for their popular Arkham Horror: The Card Game. These expansions revisit the sixth cycle of content from 2021, allowing new players to experience the full-length campaign while giving longtime fans a chance to catch up on any missed content.

The Innsmouth Conspiracy Investigator Expansion
The Investigator Expansion includes five new investigators joining the fight against the encroaching threat of the Deep Ones from the depths.
Leading the charge is Sister Mary, a stalwart Guardian investigator with exceptionally high sanity and willpower. This allows her to stare down the horrific forces of the Mythos while keeping her mind intact.
Sister Mary’s abilities revolve around the strategic use of “bless tokens” which grant a significant +2 bonus when drawn during skill tests, but also force an additional chaos token to be drawn – a double-edged sword. Her signature Guardian Angel asset enables her to protect fellow investigators while seeding more bless tokens into the chaos bag for future exploitation. However, players must take care to avoid a Crisis of Faith which could convert all those bless tokens into their negative “curse” counterparts.
Joining the fray is Silas Marsh, a grizzled Survivor investigator who can get multiple uses out of his committed skill cards.
His signature Sea Change Harpoon and Silas’s Net assets allow him to load up skill cards like Predestined, Beloved and Unrelenting on crucial tests, then retrieve them to his hand for repeated use. However, the Siren Call of his cursed Deep One ancestry may drain his resources if he’s not careful.
The expansion provides ample player cards that synergize with these investigators’ mechanics. The Book of Psalms can add bless tokens to aid Sister Mary, while the Rite of Sanctification lets her “seal” those tokens to reduce costs later. Mystic cards like Ward of Radiance provide additional support.
The Innsmouth Conspiracy Campaign Expansion
Even without the Investigator Expansion, The Innsmouth Conspiracy Campaign Expansion contains a compelling eight-scenario storyline that originally kicked off the cycle in 2021. Players wake up trapped in a deadly pit with complete amnesia about how they arrived there, and must gradually piece together their fractured memories through “flashback” sequences triggered during gameplay.
However, solving this mystery will be no easy task. The town of Innsmouth is infested with Deep Ones who are not just threatening the populace, but fully integrated as part of the community. These aquatic humanoids take a dim view of outsiders poking around, attacking with Deep One Assaults while Innsmouth Troublemakers and Furtive Locals work to impede investigators at every turn.
As players delve deeper into the bizarre occurrences, they learn of an insidious “Order” operating behind the scenes in Innsmouth. Regaining lost memories and unraveling this conspiracy becomes a race against time to prevent an even greater cosmic threat from awakening. The mind-bending, reality-warping terrors of H.P. Lovecraft’s Cthulhu mythos loom large as the stakes grow ever higher.
With the fate of the world hanging in the balance, investigators must overcome amnesia, cultists, and an army of Deep One hybrids if they hope to solve the mystery and escape Innsmouth before drowning in a flood of monsters and madness. This thrilling campaign captures the very essence of Lovecraftian horror.
