Talsorian Games, in collaboration with CD Projekt Red, has announced the upcoming release of the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit, a comprehensive package that bridges the gap between the beloved anime and the Cyberpunk RED tabletop RPG.
A Date with Night City: Release Details
The Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit is set to launch in mid-to-late June 2024, offering both new and veteran players a chance to explore the aftermath of the anime’s events. The box set includes a wealth of content, including three books totaling 120 pages, that delve into the lore and backgrounds of the Edgerunners crew.
Dive into Character: Profiles and Backstories
At the heart of the kit are the detailed profiles and backstories of the Edgerunners protagonists – David, Lucy, Rebecca, and the rest of the crew. Developed in collaboration with Cyberpunk: Edgerunners director Hiroyuki Imaishi, these character profiles provide players with a deeper understanding of the anime’s central figures and the opportunity to incorporate them into their own Cyberpunk RED campaigns.
Engaging Adventures: “The Jacket” Mission
In addition to the character-focused content, the Cyberpunk: Edgerunners Mission Kit also includes a full-length mission titled “The Jacket,” which picks up directly after the events of the anime. Players can either build their own characters or take on the roles of the seven pre-generated Edgerunners crew members, each with new artwork by Imaishi.
Immersive Elements: Themed Accessories
To further enhance the immersive experience, the box set includes a set of Cyberpunk: Edgerunners-themed dice, as well as maps, standees, and tokens to help bring the world of Night City to life.
